Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola plans to attend a presentation by former Barcelona midfielder Javi Hernandez as head coach of the Catalan club, journalist Matteo Moretto reported on Twitter.

According to the source, the coach arrived in Barcelona on November 7, canceling the previously planned events for the presentation of Xavi.

The presentation of the new coach of the Catalan club will take place on November 8 at the Camp Nou stadium. A press conference will be held after the event.

Guardiola was Barcelona’s head coach from 2008 to 2012. Under his leadership, the Catalan club won the championship and the Spanish Super Cup three times, twice won the country’s Cup, and twice won the Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the club world championship.

Barcelona have announced the appointment of Xavi as the team’s head coach on the night of 5-6 November. The contract with the 41-year-old Spaniard runs until 2024.
